Road Trippin' to the Wonders of the World

The day after the wedding in New Hampshire we left early the next morning and started our journey West. We tried to do it as quickly as travelling with a 6 month old will allow, which actually was very good time. We traveled from New Hampshire to just outside of Cleveland on our first day, it was about 11 hours of driving. McKall was a dream baby and made it smooth sailing for us. We stopped at Niagara Falls and walked around for about 2 hours. We enjoyed the AWEsome experience and the nice weather and crossed a Wonder off of the "wonders of the world" bucket list.

Day 2 was spent only driving, no major sites, from Cleveland all the way to Sioux Falls, ND!!! Yep, That's about a 14 hour drive! With a 6 month old!! We were exhausted but super glad to get it out of the way!

Day 3 included our 2nd wonder of the world - Mt Rushmore. It was a great sightseeing day, a little warm but great nonetheless. It's SO big yet it looks SO small and again, AWEsome experience to be able to see such a beautiful thing. Day 3 was finished with a push onward to Rawlins, WY, making it about an 11 hour driving day with a little sightseeing mixed in.

Day 4 - Rawlins, WY to  HOME! and anyone who has made this part of the journey knows that there is absolutely nothing exciting about this part of the journey - other than pulling into the driveway!
This was how McKall looked when we pulled into the driveway (and much of the journey)! Happy as can be and we agreed!
